Al Khazzan Park - Al Satwa
One of the oldest community parks in Dubai, Al Khazzan or Kazzan Park is a small gated family park in Satwa just opposite City Walk that's packed with all you need for a lovely morning or afternoon with a young family. It has a paved path for the scooting tribe, 2 playground areas set on a sandpit, baby swings and a big tree providing shade overlooking one of the children's playgrounds so you can watch on while you grab a bite to eat or a coffee. Grab a coffee or a fresh, wholesome meal from Hapi. We absolutely love their Pho, also try the home made Mango Lassi and Blueberry Greek Yoghurt Ice Pops. The park is also the first “zero-energy” park for the emirate where the park is exclusively powered by solar energy. Its free to enter, but the entrance opposite City Walk is closed, so park and enter on 89th street. And, if you need some help explaining Solar Energy to the little people, here's a YouTube vid that might help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inPtRWtvDaM
