Plan a fun day out with kids not just to enjoy the outdoors and birds, but also to learn about different species, their eating habits, nesting, and how to distinguish them by their feathers. See about 60 species of resident and migratory birds including the Northern Bald Ibis of which there are fewer than 500 in the world. You can tour the centre, play games, enjoy the activities and then take the buggy through the wetlands for a fun day out. Adults may walk the trail, but children may only observe from a (free) golf buggy. You can view a lot of creatures as the buggy takes you all throughout the protected region.
