Jebel Hafeet is the highest peak in Abu Dhabi and the second highest peak in the United Arab Emirates, with a height of 1,240 meters, and is home to some of the most threatened wildlife plants and animals in the UAE and the world. Here, too, 500 ancient burials dating back 5,000 years were discovered in the foothills of Jebel Hafeet, marking the beginning of the Bronze Age in the United Arab Emirates. Immerse yourself in the history and nature of Jebel Hafeet at the newly constructed Jebel Hafeet Desert Park. Occupying a nine-kilometre stretch at the base of Jebel Hafeet, visitors can enjoy the park’s natural surroundings and discover unique, fascinating archaeological and historical remains of the ancient habitation of this area.
